I regret to inform you that there is no more Defstick team. If you had followed this blog you can still check out my skateboarding action @ the blog entitled bajeebas. The Mid Atlantic Skate Series came to a close this past Saturday at Nicolet Park in St. Mary's County. Swami Bajeebas entered three events; Advanced street, 18-39 bowl, and Longboard event. Hot Sauce Everett came to check things out this time. He hadn't intended on competing that day but as he was skating around one of the judges talked him into entering. They put him in the Novice category which was retarded. As soon as he began his run a wave of mutterings went around like WTF? Novice!? So they gave him second place to be courteous to the other contestants.

I, Bajeebas, took 3rd place in he longboard event. I am quite proud of myself because all of the other contestants had boards with kicktails, whereas I was riding a 44 inch pintail.

I got a new camera off a kid in the street. Real sweet price (hopefully not stolen) :@ So we got some pics at Greenbelt last week. Unfortunately not much of Bejeebas since I was doing most of the taping.

Mike V Glory Bound

Bajeebas went to see Mike V at Charm City last week. It was tubular. Mike and Duane Peters going off hucking some niceness. Since Charm is kinda like a labyrinth with different sections every where I wondered if Duane disappeared to another part, perhaps over where the half pipe is. But I think he just went to the tour bus. Vallely and Svitak kept raging though. The item that got worked the most was wall ride at the far side of the street course. I never saw anyone session that thing so much. Christian had some 5-0's at the top. Mike V did some wall ride to disaster, and wound the night up with a sick boneless 360 from the top. He ate shit about a dozen times trying that trick and finally stuck it. Dudes were gettin raw!!
